[COM-munication ORG-anism]

Sound installation, based on the sounds, produced by mobile phones and exploring the way they change our natural sound environment.

Miscommunication occurs when humans rely on gadgets to communicate instead of them.

COMORG is an organism, trying to send a message to its habitat, but mostly the message gets lost due to communication breakdown – same as we, very often, misread or misunderstand each other, using a language that can be misinterpret.

The installation was part of “Technical Obsolescence” – exhibition of students from the Master’s program “Digital Arts”, National Academy of Fine Arts, Sofia at ONE Monev Gallery in July, 2019.

More info about the exhibition in this text by Venelin Shurelov [DA Fest].

Comorg was exhibited at ONE Gallery, Sofia, Bulgaria in June 2019.
